A Multi-Disciplinary Masters in Sustainable Development

Overview

A new Masters in Development Practice (MDP) was initiated by the University of Peradeniya and the Foundation for Environment, Climate and Technology in 2011 after a successful joint proposal to the MacArthur Foundation of Chicago, USA. The program is hosted at the University of Peradeniya and the particular contributions of FECT is found in our MDP website and in the MDP blog.

This program is open to those with a basic degree or equivalent in Agriculture, Health Sciences, Humanities, Law, Management, Natural Sciences and Engineering, or Social Sciences.

This program is supported by MacArthur Foundation, Chicago as a constituent of a 15 node global network of Universities that are offering MDP. The MDP is intended to equip development practioners with relevance expertise in fields relevant for sustainable development practice.

The 2020 programme begins around May 09th and applications are open until February 15th, 2020. Applicants to submit their applications to reach the Assistant Registrar, PGIHS, University of Peradeniya, Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.
